After the war, he served with the WV Army National Guard from 1963 until 1966. He retired from the U.S. Postal service with 33 years of service. Wilburn was a faithful member of the First Church of God on Mahood Avenue in Princeton. He was a kind and generous man, greatly loved by his family. He outlived all his siblings; brothers Hobert & Denny, a sister Arlistine, along with two sons who preceded him in death, Dale & Ronnie. Those left to cherish his memory, he loving and devoted wife of 78 years, Eula Mae Yost Vest, 3 sons, Don & wife Sandra of Maiden, NC, Allen & wife Connie of Princeton, and William “Bill” & wife Vella of Cool Ridge, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren & two great great grandchildren.      Howard Kelly Moore Jr. H. Kelley Moore, January 9, 1957 - March 3, 2022. H. Kelley Moore, 65, of Roanoke passed away on March 3, 2022 at Lewis Gale Medical Center. A native of Virginia he was a retired registered nurse. Kelleywas a faithful member of Fellowship Community Church. He volunteered with Boy Scouts of America and the Agape Center Vinton. Kelley was known for always offering a helping hand to anyone in need. Mrs. Steffey was a 1936 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, a member of the Beckley Presbyterian Church where she served as Deacon, treasurer of her circle and historian of the Women of the Church, and taught Sunday School and Bible School teacher. She rolled bandages and did sewing for the missions. She was a member of the Historical Society and the Beckley Garden Club, having contributed to the Wildwood House. Mrs. Steffey was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband, George V. Steffey and a sister, Frances Coley. Survivors include a son, Charles Scott Steffey and his wife, Debra; a daughter, Sara Steffey Walden and her husband, Lynn; two grand daughters, Carissa Joy Steffey and Shauna Lynn Walden; a grandson, Robert Steffey and his wife, Jill; and a sister, Jeanette Bond and her husband, Paul. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Beckley Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert W. Debnam officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park. on July 11, 1997.⁷
