A tribute to the life of Mrs. Opal Stephens Chase will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2009, at Perrow Evangelical Presbyterian Church with Pastor Keith Cobb officiating. She was a member of Golden Gate Rebekah Lodge No. 206, Grand Nobles Club, Odd Fellows Club, Lady L.A.P.M. No. 5, the historical society and childcare center. She was a lifelong Beckley resident. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas A. Radford Sr; two sisters, Opal Crabbs and Betty Cheek; and four brother, Jimmy, Cleve Jr., Buddy and Donnie Redden. Janice was a member of the Mount Olivet Church, a homemaker and seamstress who enjoyed cooking and sewing. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, wife and sister. She was preceded in death by one brother, Maynard Ray Buckland. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 66 years, James E.
