Gretchen was born May 16, 1938, the daughter of Henry and Ruth (Armstrong) Girton. She was a member of the Reelsville High School graduating class of 1956. Gretchen worked as a seamstress at Windbreaker's and Adamson's. She was also a custodian for the courthouse and cleaned houses for homeowners. She enjoyed sewing, flowers and watching the news. She took the most pride in her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Gretchen was preceded in death by her parents, son Henry Decker and sisters Alice Buchholz, Agnes Jack, Rose Richard and Erma Muncie. She is survived by sons Riley Decker and Tammy Jones, Brazil, Thad Decker and fiancée Polly McVey, Brazil, daughters Rannah Jones, Mississippi, Maranda Croy, Brazil, grandchildren Leon Jones and wife Jennifer, Mississippi, Sadie Decker, Brazil, TJ Decker, Illinois, Larissa Decker, Brazil, Hannah Ray, Brazil, Brooke Decker, Brazil, Erin Nichole Decker, Alan Jones, Brazil, great-grandchildren Emma, James and Logan, sister Sharon Parker and husband Johnny, Arkansas, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. A memorial graveside service will take place Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Girton Cemetery in Brazil with Pastor Rich Lakowsky officiating. The family has entrusted French Funeral Home with her care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Harris Bank, 103 West National Avenue, Brazil, Ind., 47834, attn: Gretchen Clark monument fund, to help with the purchase of a monument at the cemetery. on November 14, 2012.2

Survivors are five sons; James of Charlottesville, Va., Burl of Sophia, Lewis of Norfolk, Va., and Lee and Bill of Kegley; three daughters, Mrs. Cleo Tabor and Mrs. Sylvia Collins of Kegley; Miss Belvia Hall of Baltimore, Md; one sister, Mrs. Allie Peters of Coal City; one half-sister, Mrs. Emma Nolan of Danville, Va, and one brother, Jake Pate of Franklin County, Va. Eleven grandchildren also survive. The body will be taken to Memorial Funeral Directory where funeral arrangements will be completed. on February 10, 1956.3

Survivors; sisters, Cleo Tabor of Kegley and Ms. Belvia Hall of Baltimore, Md; brother, Billy T. Hall of Kegley; several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Burns-Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Ahens Road in Princeton with the Rev. Archie Bowling officiating, and burial at the Hall Family Cemetery at Kegley. on October 1, 1992.3

She was a homemaker, a member of the Kegley United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Women's Circle and other groups within the Church. Even though Mrs. T abor had no children, she was recognized by the Church as Mother of the Year. She had many great qualities, but she will be most remembered by her many acts of kindness and being a Good Samaritan. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert M. Tabor along with four brothers, Burl, Lewis, Jim and Lee Hall and a sister, Sylvia Collins. Survivors: one sister, Belvia Hall of Baltimore, MD; one brother, Billy T. Hall of Kegley; and several nephews and nieces. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m Friday from Roselawn Memorial Gardens on the Courthouse Road in Princeton with Reverend Jim McCormick and Pastor W. D. Wooten officiating. on January 2, 1997.5

He was retired from the Norfolk & Southern Railway Co. after 38 years of service. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Carman and a member of the Kegley Baptist Church at Kegley. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Lillian Ward Hall of the home; three daughters, Jerry Lynn Hall of the home, Debra Kay Hedrick and husband, Keith, of Camp Creek, and Susan Rebecca Wright and husband, Herman, of Abbs Valley, Va; two sons, Gary Wayne Hall and wife, Donna, of Princeton and William R. L. Hall and wife, Mary R., of Kegley; one sister, Belva Hall of Baltimore, Md; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, 1998, at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Rick Setser and the Rev. Archie Bowling officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may call Sunday, Aug. 16, 1998, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Thomas Wright, Wayne Wright, Leland Hedrick, Kevin Hall, Herman Wright and Keith Hedrick. on August 16, 1998.8

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Beaver Methodist Church with Rev. J. D. Shaffer in charge. Burial will be in the Blue Jay Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
