Born July 19, 1934 at Elizabeth, she was the daughter of the late Bernard C. & Anna Lee Conner. Josephine was a graduate of Spanishburg High School and West Virginia Business College in Bluefield. She retired from the Mercer County Board of Education with over 20 years of service as a Teacher's Aide. She was a lifetime member of the Kegley United Methodist Church for more than 60 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Vinie E. Wiley and an infant daughter. While her health permitted, she enjoyed her flowers, working in her garden and reading her Bible. Those left to cherish her memory, two sons and their spouses: Michael A. & Kathy Chiquita Wiley of Union, Pancho E. & Belinda Sue Wiley of Kegley. Four grandchildren: Brandais Yarid & husband Andrew, Michael Wiley Jr. & wife Emily, Kris Wiley & wife Deanna, and Glen Wiley. Two great grandchildren: Rebecca & Matthew. Three step-daughters: Alice, Linda & Juanita. And a blessing of her extended family and friend, Gladys Richmond. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 19, 2016 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor C.T. Lilly III officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Princeton. on September 16, 2016.⁴

Born April 3, 1933, at Princeton, he was the son of the late James Henry and Pearl and Jane Ford Moye. He was educated at Princeton, served with the U.S. Air Force and was of the Methodist faith. He was a retired trailer driver for Smith Transfer, having retired in 1977, and was a member of the Teamster Union of Charleston. He was the owner/operator of the Moye Construction Company, and the Gardner Grocery. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Lilly and Dean Hodges; three brothers, Willard, James and Wayne Moye. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Alma Delois Thomas Moye; one son, Jeffery Moye and wife, Lori of Princeton; one daughter, Debra Darnell and companion, Jetty Lawrence of Princeton; and two grandsons, Derick Darnell and Brandon Moye. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, from the Maxey-Moye Cemetery on Cornbread Ridge near Gardner, with Pastor Arnold Akers officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton. Pallbearers will be Harry Watts, Jack Ferguson, Richard Matthews, Dean Bailey, J.P. Worrell and Fred Danieley. on August 4, 1998.³
