She was a member of the Oak Hill Brethren Church. She was born at Coalburg, March 23, 1887, a daughter of the late George and Emmett Poff Dooley. Her husband, Nathan Coleman, preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Emmett of Oak Hill and George L. (Jack) of Hampton, Va; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Pennock of Oak Hill and Mrs. Lula Thompson of Bradley; a brother, W. R. Dooley of Oak Hill; a sister, Mrs. Molly McKinney of Oak Hill; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted in the Oak Hill Brethren Church today at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Marion Dodds and the Rev. C. S. Donnelly in charge. Burial will be in the Dooley Cemetery, Fayetteville, Route 1. The body will remain at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill and will be taken to the church one hour prior to the funeral. on February 4, 1963.1

Services will be at the First Brethren Church at Oak Hill at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. William Sheldon, Rev. David Mahoney and Dr. C. S. Donnelly in charge. Born July 23, 1909, at Winifrede Junction, he was the son of the late J. Nathan and Elenor Mae Dooley Coleman. Mr. Coleman worked with the survey crew for the Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington Division, retiring in 1971. He served his country with the U.S. Army and was activated from the West Virginia National Guard for World War II and reactivated in 1962 for the Cuban Missile Crisis. Emmet was a member of Jones First Church of God, Oak Hill, the American Numismatic Association and the National Scrip Collectors Association and enjoyed Civil War memorabilia. He loved West Virginia history, flea markets, yard sales and reading. He enjoyed his family very much and would always ask, "How are my girls" when talking about his great-granddaughters. He married the former Lorene Wilson on Feb. 18, 1944, in Oak Hill and she preceded him in death on Dec. 25, 1992. A granddaughter, Amber Strawn; two sisters, Decima Coleman and Mary Pennock; and a brother, George "Jack" Coleman, preceded him in death. Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl Coleman Strawn and husband, Bill, of Bethalto, Ill; one sister, Lula Thompson of Bradley; four grandchildren and their spouses, Charles Coleman and Carrie Strawn of Malibu, Calif., Timothy Emmett and Diane Strawn of Cahokia, Ill, Scott Willard and Cambra Strawn of San Jose, Calif., and Sara Suzanne Strawn of Alton, Ill; four great-grandchildren, Moriah, Jordan, Janae' and Will (Mr. Coleman was expecting his fifth great-grandchild); his pretend grandchildren, Rachel and Christopher Pennington; and a host of friends and church family. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2006, at Jones Avenue First Church of God, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Ralph Shupe and the Rev. Richard Bradley officiating. Burial will be in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, with military graveside rites by VFW Post 3110, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Jones Avenue First Church of God, Oak Hill. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Meadowbrook First Church of God, 222 Maple Drive, Bethalto, IL 62010. Va; six grandchildren, Michelle Brown and George Coleman III, both of Gloucester, Deena Mariniak and Chris Covington, both of Newport News, and Tanya Rao and Jeffrey Yost, both of Cumberland, R.I; and four great-grandchildren, Michael Mariniak, Jacob Brown, Cheyenne Davis-Covington and Linzie Coleman. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 12, 1997, at 3:30 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park with Masonic rites held by Warwick Lodge No. 336. on August 11, 1997.4

Funeral services will be on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Albert "Skip" Bowman officiating. Burial will be at Dooley Cemetery, Gatewood. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral. on January 22, 2014.3

Mrs. Grablick is survived by her husband, George Grablick, Jr; a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Betty) Carlington of River View, Mich; two sisters, Mrs. Aubrey (Edith) Collins of Lincoln Park, Mich., and Mrs. Gerogia Mae Helton of Oak Hill; one brother, Clinton Treadway of Salem Road; a stepsister, Mrs. Martin (Edith) McKinney Coleman of Oak Hill and a grandson. on July 1, 1976.5
