Born November 6, 1909 at Glen View, she was a daughter of the late Mac Lee and Martha Gray Canaday. A resident of Raleigh County for the past 50 years she was a member of the Coal City Community Church and the Ladies Bible Class of the Church and a member of the Coal City Homemakers Club. She is survived by her husband Lonnie Calvin Cole of Coal City, two daughters, Mrs. Jaris (Dorothy) Tankersley, Coal City, Mrs. William (Ruth) Maloney of Fayetteville, NC, two brothers, Steve of Glen White, and Wilson Canaday of Columbus, OH, one sister, Mrs. H.O. (Nacie) Bowman of Roanoke, VA, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the Coal City Community Church with the Revs. Edwin Farley and Herman Hayes officiating. Burial will be in the Cole Family Cemetery at Coal City. She was a member of the Mission Bell Chapter 205 Order of the Eastern Star in San Pablo, the Widows of Masons and the Rebekah Lodge. Mrs. Collins enjoyed making floral arrangements and Christmas wreaths, and working with her Avon customers. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, William and Jean Canaday of Pascagoula, Miss; a daughter and son-in-law, Anna and John Toutolmin of Paonia, five grandchildren, Jana Toutolmin, Jadynn Sornborger and her husband, David, Bret Specht, Scott Specht and his wife, Debbie, and Marcia Cumberland and her husband, Hugh, seven great-grandchildren, Kimberly Tippett and her husband, Mike, Melissa Langeford, Eric Specht, Joshua and Jeremiah Specht and Robert and Shawn McRobbie. Two daughters, Rebecca Lee Collins and Gloria Specht, and 10 brothers and sisters are deceased. on November 20, 1995.6
