Carol Jean Goff Carol Newhouser, age 84 of Gallatin, passed away Sun, January 25, 2015. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Nashville National Cemetery in Madison. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 27 from 3-7 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Newhouser was born December 12, 1930 in Gatewood, West Virginia to the late Clifton Maxwell Goff and Anna Burr Goff. She is preceded in death by her husband, James O. Newhouser. She is survived by her son, Mike Newhouser of Westmoreland, daughters, Venus Newhouser of Clarksville, Christel Waldrep (Danny Cowley) of Bethpage, brother, Dalton Goff (Rita) of Asbury, WV, sister, Eunice Shuff of Oak Hill, WV, grandchildren, Sherry Newhouser, Steven Newhouser (Megan), Jared Waldrep, Brianna Brooks, James Cowley (Cassie), and Crystal Cowley, and great-grandchildren, David Goins, Dylan Carter, Hayleigh Cowley, and Braylon Cowley.2 She was buried at Nashville National Cemetery, 1420 Gallatin Pike South, Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee.2,4 Her married name was Newhouser.2 She married James O.
