Farley; seven brothers, Elmer, Ray, Roy, Alfred, Lincoln, Joe and twin brother, Everett Rose; and one sister, Juanita Mullins. Survivors include her daughter Mary Vinson and her husband, Bobby, of Beach Park, Ill; four grandchildren, Betty Vinson, Billy Vinson, Brian Keith Vinson and Joshua Vinson; and two great-grandchildren, Melisa Vinson and Mariah Vinson. She is also survived by a nephew who lived with her, Jerry Mullins; a special niece, Ginger McCullen; a special friend, Linda Sue Hamilton; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and caregiver, Sandra Stewart. A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be 1 p. m., Friday, July 10, 2009 at Calfee Funeral Service Chapel, Pineville, with the Rev. Shawn Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. on July 9, 2009.2

Born September 18, 1936, at Kimball, she was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Virgie Belcher. She was a homemaker and a member of the Stoney Ridge Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Davis and Carol Sue Woods. Survivors including her husband, Everett L. Rose; one daughter, Ginger McCullen and husband Ronald of Bluefield, Va; four sons, Steve Rose and wife Pam of Lindenhurst, Ill., Cecil Rose and wife Becky of Bluefield, Va., Alvin Rose and wife Connie of Tip Top, Va., and Abraham Wells of Bluefield, Va; three sisters, Dorothy Stacy of Lynn Hollow at North Tazewell, Va., Betty Ferrow and husband Harvey of Welch, and Janice Smith and husband Ron of Tip Top; one brother, Bobby Belcher and wife Mary of Tip Top; four grandchildren, Don and Beld Rose of Lindenhurst, and Leeann Rose and Sam McCullen, both of Bluefield, Va; two great-grandchildren, Sean Everett and Viviette “Breezy” Rose of Lindenhurst; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at ll a.m. Tuesday at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell with Whitley Pruett and Arey Bandy officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. Pallbearers will be Brandon Dolen, Ron Smith, Edward Smith, Roger Stacy, Jerry Mullins and Doug Etten. on July 31, 2000.2
