Hope was born to Ralph and Phyllis Sink in Roanoke, VA, on August 17, 1943. She was a 1961 graduate of Jefferson High School and Murray State University. Hope was predeceased by her husband, Donald L. Wimmer; and is survived by her three sons Drew (Elia) Hatcher of Houston, TX, Todd (Kristy) Hatcher of Macon, GA, and Brock (Amy) Hatcher of Fargo, ND; and her seven grandchildren; as well as her three sisters Jane (Gerald) Baldwin of Lancaster, PA, Becky (Charlie) Tucker of Powder Springs, GA, and Janet (Brandon) Gerber of Clearwater, FL. Hope was a devoted wife, mother, and a tremendous grandmother. She loved to laugh, play tennis, and enjoyed her overseas travels with Don, but nothing superseded her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Whether while living in Paducah, KY, High Point, NC, or Vero Beach, FL, she was always active in church and loved singing in the church choir, and her life reflected her faith. on June 14, 2024.2
