For the past ten years he has served as the moderator of Smith River Primitive Baptist Association. Survivors include two sons, Donald L. Agee, Christiansburg; and Larry J. Agee, King, North Carolina; three step-sons, Melvin Gearheart and Donald Gearheart, both of Copper Hill; and Larry Gearheart; Salem; his mother, Sarah Moran Agee, Christiansburg; six sisters, Mrs. Herman (Ora) Guthrie, Salem; Mrs. Raymond (Rule) Poff; Mechanicsville, Maryland; Mrs. Bill (Ruby) Hawley, and Mrs. Jimmy (Doris) Hawley, both of Roanoke; Mrs. Charles (Frances) Lewis, Newbern, North Carolina; Mrs. Eddie (Madeline) Bonham, Midway Park, North Carolina; three brothers, Roscoe Agee and Andrew Agee, both of Christiansburg; Floyd S. Agee, Jr., Salem; four grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Loreeta and Frank Carter, of Bristol, Janet and Tom Baca, of Albuquerque, N.M., Wanda and James Rettinger, of Roanoke, and Lisa and John Newell, also of Albuquerque, N.M; seven grandchildren, Sara and Jason Reeves, of Hamilton, Mont., Stephanie and Mike Schmidt, of Los Angeles, Calif., Sheri Carter, of Alexandria, Rex Carter, of Floyd, and Amanda, Ian, and Anya Newell, all of Albuquerque, N.M; great- grandchildren, Kelly and Kevin Reeves, and Emma and Maya Schmidt; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank extended family, Ann LeDe' and her wonderful staff, Dr. Michael Malpass, and Good Samaritan Hospice for the care and attention during Eva's illness. She died on November 23, 2014 at Virginia at age 92.2 She Clarice Peters Cole, 92, of Pilot, went peacefully to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, November 23, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, George J. and Allie Janney Peters; husband, Marvin L. Cole; two sons, Darry Lee and George Kyle Cole; siblings, Hobert, Maggie, Bernard, Hampton, Ibra, Herman, Vivian, Huie, and her twin brother Harris. She Leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Durene C.      George Kyle Cole was born on September 14, 1958.2 He died on March 31, 2007 at Virginia at age 48.2 He George Kyle Cole departed his earthly life Saturday night, March 31, 2007 at the age of 48. He was born September 14, 1958 and was a tremendously unique individual. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin L. Cole; and a brother, Darry Lee Cole. Also preceding him in death were his grandparents, J. Kyle and Mae S. Cole, and George and Allie J. Peters. George Kyle experienced many passions in his life through, farming, truck driving, real estate, auctioneering, fence building and logging timber. He is survived by his loving mother, Clarice P. Cole of Pilot; one sister, Durene C. Cupp, Christiansburg; a daughter, Susan Dickerson; a granddaughter, Ashlynn Jean Kemp, Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also survived by a very special nephew and his wife, Darren and Tammy Keith; one grandniece, Grace-Katherine Durene and three grandnephews, Joshua Dean, Cole Gabriel, and Mason Kyle Keith, all of Pilot. A special thanks for the kindness and care given to George Kyle goes to the New River Nephrology Office, Drs. Travede and Baker, Carolyn and Denise, The New River Valley Dialysis Center and the many nurses and doctors at the New River Valley Medical Center who have always shown extra love over the past 3½ years. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening with a memorial service at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Leon Alley, officiating at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd, Virginia. A private family interment will take place at the Cole Family Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Floyd County Rescue Department, Floyd, Va. 24091. on April 2, 2007.2

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, CDR Clinton Scott Eanes, USN and wife Inga; a daughter, Melissa Eanes Blomquist and husband, Scott; four grandchildren, Caleb, Asher, Eden and Jordan Blomquist and also Walter knew of a fifth grandchild due in August. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Roy C. Mayo Jr. and wife Martha; two brothers-in-law, Roy C. Mayo III and wife Cheryl, Timothy W. Mayo and wife Sandi; two cousins, Jane Walton and husband, Ezra and William Huffman. The family wishes to thank the many friends and family, caregivers and volunteers at the Hospice of the Hills for the love and support shown to Walter and family. Burial in Meade Memorial Cemetery. on February 2, 2012.2

Mr. Hoback was awarded the Virginia Tech Alumni Association "Alumni Distinguished Service Award" in 1993. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3, 1994, at Oakey's North Chapel, 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Stonewall Cemetery, Copper Hill, Va. Thompson, M.D. of Rustburg, Colonel Robert A. Thompson, Retired, of San Antonio, Texas; sister-in-law, Mrs. Dean H. Young; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at her home. Memorial services will be at the Northminster Presbyterian Church, 11 a.m. Monday, March 15, 1999, with the Rev. David A. Kirk officiating.
