Thelma Lee Conner Poff, 75, departed this life on Monday, April 2, 2007, at her home in Salem, Virginia. Mrs. Poff was the widow of J. Lynwood Poff to whom she was married for 30 years. Her parents, Dessie and Ennis Conner of Check, Virginia, preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her grandson, Dennis Michael Poff, Jr; her sisters, Mary Wimmer and Virginia Dinkins; and a brother, William Herman Conner. Mrs. Poff is survived by two sons, Mike and his wife Arlene, of Asheville, North Carolina, Phillip and his wife Jane, of Rocky Mount, Virginia; a daughter, Lisa Oliver and her husband David, of Salem; one brother, James (Buster) Wesley Conner and his wife Bonnie, of Roanoke.
