     Elbert Louis Lawrence WATSON - A graveside service for Elbert Lawrence, 68, of Number Four Road, will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Petries Corners Cemetery, with Rev. Titus Mast, pastor of Naumburg Mennonite Church officiating. Arrangements are with lseneker Funeral Home, Inc., Lowville. He is survfved by two sisters, Ednal L. Samons and Judith L. Wells, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He is predeceased by his parents; a brother, Roy L. Lawrence and a sister, Evelyn L. Lusk. Mr. Lawrence died on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Lewis County General Hospital. Elbert was born in Virginia on April 11, 1941, a son of the late Clarence A. and Effie C. Lawrence. He worked for Smith-Corona in Groton, NY for many years. He had also worked as a nurse in Syracuse, NY for a time. He was active with the boy scouts and Oswegatchie Camp for several years. Elbert loved music, playing guitar, banjo, mandolin and dobro. Most recently, he played with the group "Sweet Harmony".⁶ His Social Security Number was 076-32-9312.⁷ He was buried at Petries Corners Cemetery, Petries Corners, Lewis Co., New York.^1,6 He was born on April 11, 1941 at Scipio, Cayuga Co., New York.^8,1,2,7,6 He died on September 19, 2009 at Lowville, Lewis Co., New York, at age 68.^1,7,6
