     Edwin Clemens Schattschneider II was buried at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 North Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, Santa Fe Co., New Mexico.3 He was born on October 21, 1923 at West Allis, Milwaukee Co., Wisconsin.1 He married Catherine Elizabeth Waters, daughter of George Henry Waters Sr. and Pinkey Lola Bailey, on August 21, 1946 at Eau Claire, Eau Claire Co., Wisconsin.4 Edwin Clemens Schattschneider II died on June 27, 2012 at Sarasota, Sarasota Co., Florida, at age 88.2 He Edwin C. Schattschneider, 88 a resident of Sarasota FL, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012. He retired in 1982 after teaching for 28 years at various school systems located in Wisconsin, Florida, Ohio and New Mexico. He was very active in the church directing church choirs and bell choirs and playing in several symphonies. He is preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Cora, his wife Catherine of 58 years, and sister Ruth Crooks. He is survived by four sons, Edwin III and wife, Patricia of Smithville Ohio, Dwight and wife, Marilyn of Tampa FL, William and wife, Esther of Belen NM, and Robert and wife, Joy of Vernonia, Oregon. He is survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He and his wife Catherine volunteered for a number of years at The Doctors Hospital located in Sarasota FL. His family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of The Pines Assisted Care Facility in Sarasota FL for their support and care. Cremation has taken place and at Edwin's request, no services are planned. on July 18, 2012.2
