Simpkins, John Justin Broce and Lori Marie Mallory; grandchildren, Danielle Broce, Joshua Simpkins, Brandon Mallory and Amber Mallory. She is also survived by her sister, Connie Goodman and her husband, Clay Goodman, and their children, Andy Goodman and Julie Bailey. Patricia retired after eighteen years of dedicated service to Virginia Tech. She was a dedicated mother and loyal friend. Her time on Earth was not easy, her trials were long and difficult, but she never gave up. She had faith that eventually her journey would end here and begin in Heaven, where she could walk beside her husband and family that preceded her. Her family may be missing her desperately, but Heaven has gained an angel. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. on June 5, 2011.3
