He will be missed by his son and wife Darrell (Margarita) Dawson of Wooster and a brother Daniel (Nancy) Dawson of W. Va; a sister Claudia O'Dell of Massillon. Preceding Dane in death, in addition to his parents was his wife and son Duane; brothers, Dexter and Dudley and sisters; Cledith, Chessie and Carmen. Graveside services will be at the H. E. Dawson Cemetery on Twistabout Ridge, Clay Co., WV. on March 16, 2019.8

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister and was known for her kind & compassionate heart. Claudia was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, John O'Dell, son, Ronald O'Dell, brothers, Dexter, Dudley and Dane Dawson, and sisters, Chessie McCune, Carmin Samples, and Cledith Atwood. Claudia is survived by her son, Randall (Deborah) O'Dell, grandchildren, Kristina O'Dell, Randy O'Dell, and Sean O'Dell, great-grandson Jaden O'Dell, step-grandchildren, Adrienne (Mike) Schuring and Dustin (Laura) Shuman, step-great-grandchildren, Brayden, Jase, Sami, Matthew, Vanessa & Hayden, brother, Daniel (Nancy) Dawson, daughter-in-law, Linda O'Dell, and several nieces and nephews. Chessie worked for the Massillon Municipal Court System as a Deputy Clerk for the late Howard Doll, Ralph Huppert and Ed Radel until her retirement. She was a charter member of Anchor Baptist Church where she was actively involved in The Anchors of Love Shut in Ministry, along with The Golden Anchors. Chessie will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, homemaker, teacher, and source of pride and inspiration. She is survived by her son, David K. (Shirley) McCune; a daughter, Cathy L. (David) Ammond; four grandchildren, Christopher Ammond, Sara Joy McCune, Pete McCune, and Leah Ammond who will all cherish her memory. She is also survived by one sister, Claudia O'Dell with whom she shared a special relationship; four brothers; Dexter (Karen) Dawson, Dane (Ann) Dawson, Dudley (Elaine) Dawson, and Daniel (Nancy) Dawson; and her brother and sister-in-law, Jack and June McCune. In addition to her husband and parents, Chessie was preceded in death by her sisters, Cledith Atwood, and Carmen Samples. Interment will be at Brookfield Cemetery. on July 3, 2012.5

Bobbie retired from Republic Steel Corp. in 1996 following 36 years of service as a steelworker. He was a member of Anchor Baptist Church, VFW of Massillon, the Golden Anchors of Anchor Baptist Church, and the USWA Local #1124. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Mabel Harrah, Maxine Taylor, Edith Runnion, Emogene Jones, Ruey Keaton, Maysel Parson (June 4, 2008); brothers, Oris and John McCune. He is survived by his wife, Chessie C. (Dawson) McCune, with whom he would have celebrated 53 years of marriage on June 25, 2008; son and daughter -in-law, David K. (Shirley) McCune of Massillon; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy (David) Ammond of Massillon; brother and sister-in- law, Jackie E.
