He used to enjoy tennis, and had volunteered at the Butler VA. Mr. McIlwain enjoyed polka dancing, spending time with his family and grandchildren and arguing politics. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Della Cousins McIlwain; his second wife, Doris McIlwain; a daughter, Colleen McIlwain; brothers, W.L.D. McIlwain, Donald McIlwain and Bill McIlwain; and a sister, Anna Lee McIlwain. Survivors include a son, Kevin and Linda McIlwain, of Kittanning; two grandchildren, Breandan McIlwain and Kellen and Angela McIlwain; four great-grandchildren, Aurora, Hannah, Liam and Kaylee; and a niece, Alice Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John F. "Jack" Westwood Jr., who died July 10, 1997. on January 4, 2002.¹
