     Velda Darlene "Rusty" Wright Rusty Casagranda of Prescott Valley, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. She was the daughter of Blanche Hummel Wright and Eldon Wright. She was born Oct. 9, 1929 on a farm in Stockport, Iowa where she graduated from high school. She was raised on a farm by VO Wright, her grandfather, who she loved dearly. She loved farm life, milking cows, slopping pigs and riding horses and was a huge animal lover, leaving behind her beloved cat phantom. She also taught Ballroom dancing, which is where she met the love of her life, Frank Casagranda Sr. who preceded her in death. Rusty is survived by her three children, Mickey Ream, Tanya Casagranda-May (Bill) and Frank Casagranda Jr. (Challene); 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters Doris and Judy; her sister-in-law Dolores Dipol; and many nieces; nephews; and cousins. A funeral service will take place Saturday, April 2, 2016 with visitation starting at 9 a.m. and service starting at 10 a.m. at the Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley, Arizona.      Frank Casagranda Sr. Frank Richard Casagranda was born on January 5, 1932 in Huntington Park, California to Frank and Onorina Casagranda. He was one of four children, and his sister Dolores Dipol survives him. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Elsie Burleson, and brother Richard. His son Jamie also preceded him. He married the love of his life Rusty Wright and they enjoyed many years together. Frank enlisted in the US Navy and served honorably here and overseas. He was a union carpenter, and he taught his sons everything he knew. Frank was a hard working man, and after he retired he took good care of Rusty as her health declined. Frank died peacefully in his sleep on June 27th, 2011 at his home. He is survived his wife of 49 years Rusty, four children and their families: Mickey from Alaska, Tanya and husband Bill of California, Frank Jr and wife Challene of Arizona, Carrie Lynn of Ohio; and sister Dolores Dipol of California, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, Raquel, Vaughn, Heather, Nichole, Travis, Kendall, Amanda, Stephanie, Corey, Charlie, Didi & Angelina. Visitation will be at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley on Wed, July 6th from 12:00 to 1:00. Services will begin at 1:00at the funeral home with Father Dan Vollmer from St. Germaine Catholic Church officiating. He will be laid to rest with military honors at Heritage Memorial Park at 2:00 pm. Frank was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Friend and Neighbor. "Bud" Wright was buried at Spencer Cemetery, Stockport, Van Buren Co., Iowa.¹ He was born on June 21, 1931 at Stockport, Van Buren Co., Iowa.¹ He died on April 6, 2014 at Iowa City, Johnson Co., Iowa, at age 82.¹ He Donald L. "Bud" Wright, 82, of Stockport, died at 5:43 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. He was born June 21, 1931, near Stockport, to Eldon and Blanch Hummell Wright. In childhood and youth he lived in Springville and Viola and graduated from Viola High School. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War and was a farmer and welder. He had farmed near Stockport from 1960 until retiring to town in 1996. Foreign languages were his hobby. Surviving are a sister, Darlene Casagranda of Prescott Valley, Ariz; and two half sisters, Judy Windstead of Springville and Doris Meyer of Marion. A half sister, Betty Pringle, preceded him in death in childhood. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, with Larry Smith officiating. Family will be present from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday before the service. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery, rural Stockport. on April 8, 2014.¹
