     Ray Elmo Nesbitt was buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Courthouse Road, Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia.2 He married Anna Lois Whitlow, daughter of Robert Lee Whitlow and Flora Alice Whitt.3 Ray Elmo Nesbitt was born on July 29, 1925 at Big Stick, Raleigh Co., West Virginia.1 He died on December 31, 1991 at Princeton, Mercer Co., West Virginia, at age 66.2 He Ray Elmo “Boogie” Nesbitt, 66, of Route 1, Box 10, Brittany Estates, Glenwood Park Community, Princeton, formerly of Ashland. (McDowell County), died Sunday at his home. Born at Crumpler, he was a son of the late James and Ester Huffman Nisbet. He was a disabled World War II veteran having served with the U.S. Army where he received a Purple Heart, the American Campaign Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal. He was a member of the Rich Creek Baptist Church of Spanishburg. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Nisbet and four brothers, Cletus Nisbet, Jimmy Nisbet, Wallace Nisbet and Elwood Nisbet. Survivors: sons, William E. Nesbitt and Jeffery D. Proffitt, both of Princeton and Ray E. Nesbitt Jr., of the home; daughters, Mrs. Ronnie (Donna) Tignor and Mrs. Don (Patricia) Elliott, both of Princeton, Mrs. Ernie (Connie) Hatfield of Charleston and Ms. Bonnie R. Nesbitt of the home; sisters. Mrs. Barbara Faye Walker of Princeton, Mrs. Mike (Della) Kish of Patesville, Ohio and Mrs. Alvin (Agnes) Webb of Rising Sun, Md; brothers, Francis Rudolph Nisbet of Rock and Lawrence Manuel Nisbet of Princeton; eight grandchildren. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Pallbearers will be Manuel Hamiton, John Stone, Bobby Rose, Brian Rose, Tony McPherson and Timmy Whitlow. on January 1, 1992.2

Survivors include two sons, Robert "Robbie" Repass of Princeton, and Sean Hatfield of Morgantown; one grandchild, Rhaderica Repass; one brother, Jeffrey Proffitt of Princeton; and two sisters, Patsy Elliott and Donna Tignor and husband Ronnie all of Princeton. Private family services will be conducted and burial will be at Oakwood Park Cemetery in Princeton. on November 29, 2006.2

     James Pershing Clark James P. "Jim" Clark, 73, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Heritage Hall in Wise, Virginia. He was born in West Virginia; son of the late Pershing and Eleanor Helton Clark. He was of the Baptist Faith and a coal miner for many years. Jim loved the outdoors and boating. He also enjoyed hobbies like fast cars and motorcycles. He is survived by one son, Brian Clark and wife, Mellason of Castlewood, Virginia; one sister, Judy Bowman and husband, Wayne of Charlotte, North Carolina; one granddaughter, Raleigh Clark of Castlewood, Virginia; one step-granddaughter, Maddie Gordon of Castlewood, Virginia; one nephew, Scott Bowman of Charlotte, North Carolina; and one niece, Missy Plumley and husband, Thomas of Charlotte, North Carolina.2 He was born on February 9, 1949 at West Virginia.1 He married Connie Sue Nesbitt, daughter of Ray Elmo Nesbitt and Anna Lois Whitlow, on June 30, 1980 at Pembroke, Giles Co., Virginia.1 James Pershing Clark and Connie Sue Nesbitt were divorced in June, 1983.1 James Pershing Clark died on April 6, 2022 at Wise, Wise Co., Virginia, at age 73.2
