He retired from Goodyear with 39 years of service as a pipefitter. Roy was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 50 years, Arlene Helms (Elmore); son, Ronald R. Helms (Janet) and daughter, Jean Sipe, who are both thankful for having had him as a father; devoted granddaughter, Theresa Bickel (Sipe); granddaughters, Michele Schruefer (George) of Centerville, Virginia, and Audra Baker; grandsons, Rick (Nena) Sipe, Michael Sipe, and Ryan Helms; sister, Virginia Burch of Cape Coral, Florida; five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Adams-Mason Memorial Chapel, 791 E. Market St., Ak ron, where friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. Con ducting services will be Rev. G. Rod Taylor. Burial will be at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Service Hospice Care Center or the American Cancer Society. on September 5, 2004.1

Billie Jo Huffman Billie Jo Templeton, 70, of St. Albans passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007, in Hubbard Hospice House. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Otho and Mary Jane Jenkins Huffman. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church for over 55 years, where she played the piano and organ for the youth. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star, where she served as past Mother Advisor Order of Rainbow for Girls, Shadyside, Ohio. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by Orville, her husband of 52 years; daughters, Jane O. Miller of Charleston, Casi S. Fields and husband, Jeffrey, of Catlettsburg, Ky; granddaughter, Cary Jo Miller; great-grandchildren, Nathan Christopher and Karli Danielle Miller, all of St. Albans; sisters, Mary Jane Cundiff of Leewood, Kay Karr of Winfield, and Roben Sue Parsons and husband, Gene, of Florida; brother, James O. Huffman II, and wife, Linda, of St. Albans; brother-in-law, William Templeton and wife, Jean, of Mill Creek; several nieces and nephews; and her family pet, Buffy. Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Baldwin officiating. Entombment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. He graduated with the class of 1955 at St. Albans High School. He was greatly loved and will be sorely missed. A celebration of Orville's life will be 2 p.m., Sunday, January 6, at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 702 Hansford St., St. Albans, with Pastor Richie McNiel officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B St., St. Albans. Preceded in death by parents, Margaret and William Henry Huffman; and brother, Williiam Henry Huffman; and brother, William Franklin Huffman. Left to cherish his memory are loving wife, Bonnie "Penny" Huffman; children, Scott Huffman (Sarah), Rebecca Smith (John) and Margaret Kenny (Kevin); stepsons, Roger Gray (Brandy) and Bill Gray (Joann); grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Katelyn, Aaron, Erica, Kevin Jr., Lizzie, Joanie, Savannah, Roger "Pickle", Clifford and Mika; sisters, Jean DeBoard, Ida Branch and Mary Wilkins; and brother, Charles Huffman. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 1, at Pryor Funeral Home, East bank with Pastor Herman Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. on March 31, 2013.3

Huffman of Statesboro, Ga; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers-in-law, Hugh Hardage of Statesboro, Ga., and Fred Hardage of Atlanta, Ga. Visitation for Mr. Huffman will be held Sunday, Oct. 10, from 2 until 4 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home. Memorial graveside services for Mr. Huffman will be held at the Marietta City Cemetery at a later date. Hodges-Moore Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
