She was an avid church and choir member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Glenna was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Norman Sprinkle, and sister, Pauline Vest Board. She is survived by her four sons, Gary Sprinkle and his wife, Cate, Gordon Sprinkle, Ronald Sprinkle and his wife, Lynn, and Ricky Sprinkle and his wife, Lisa; seven grandchildren, Drew, Paige, Seth, Kelly, Conner, Travis and Jenna Sprinkle; sister, Sigrid Vest Seiler and her husband, Tom; niece, Laura Seiler; nephew, Shawn Seiler; many special friends, including her beloved dog, Nicholas. Friends are welcome to call Monday, August 4, 2008 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road, Daleville, where a service celebrating Glenna's life will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. She is survived by two sisters and their families, sister Glenna Vest (Norman) Sprinkle, her children and their families, Gary Sprinkle and his wife Cate, children Drew and Paige, Gordon Sprinkle and his wife Jo Anne and children Seth and Kelly, Ronald Sprinkle and his wife Lynn and child Conner, Rick Sprinkle and his wife Lisa and children Travis and Jenna, all of Troutville, VA; sister Sigrid Vest Seiler and husband Tom of Copper Hill, VA and Long Beach, MS and their children Laura Seiler of Mobile, AL and Shawn Seiler of Flowery Branch, GA. Also surviving is a stepdaughter Dianah Parrish, her husband Donnie and children David, Donnie, and Daniel all of Roanoke. She is also survived by her special caregivers and friends, Carolyn and Lynwood Wilson, Ester Janney, Lucy Tanner, Betty Mount Cassell, Liz Poff, Tina Evans, and Susan Burchett. Funeral services will be held at Gardner Funeral Home in Floyd, VA, on Monday December 22, 2003 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Greg Mills and Rev. Bob Hutchins officiating. Interment will follow in Restvale Cemetery in Copper Hill. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday December 21, 2003 at Gardner Funeral Home. There will be no night visitation.
