She is survived by two daughters, Agnes Furrow Thacker of Hampton, Va., Helen Sue Furrow Johnson of Roanoke; one son, Wayne Furrow and wife, Judy Furrow of Rocky Mount; two daughters-in-law, Excie Furrow and Betty Furrow; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Pauline Furrow, Millie Furrow, Thelma Furrow and Shirley Feazelle. The interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. on January 23, 2007.⁴

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, James and Martha Custer; one grandson, Charles Custer all of Callaway; two brothers and sisters-in-law, B.L. (Bill) Sr. and Era Furrow, B.W. (Pat) and Evelyn Furrow all of Callaway; sister-in-law and her husband, Eva and Hobard Guilliams of Rocky Mount; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, Monday 7, 1998 at Old Salem Primitive Baptist Church, Floyd, Va. with Elder W. Lane Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Wednesday where the family will be from 7 until 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Callaway Fire Department, 873 Old Forge Road, Callaway, Va. 24067 or Callaway Rescue Squad, 532 Deyerle Knob Road, Rocky Mount, Va. 24151. Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount is in charge of the arrangements. on May 6, 1998.⁴
