Grose, 68, of HC-70, Box 86, Kegley, was dead on arrival Thursday, November 7,1996, at the Princeton Community Hospital. Bom January 19, 1928 at Crumpler, he was the son of the late Henry and Sadie Lambert Grose. He was a carpenter working in construction and was a member of the Fairview Christian Community Church on the Beckley Road in Princeton. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Delaney Hodges Grose of Kegley; three sons, Mr. Teddy L. Grose of Princeton, and Mr. Gregory Grose and Mr. Steve Grose, both of Kegley; two daughters, Mrs. Jose “Nancy” Barron of Trenton, Mo. and Mrs. Algia "Nita" Miller of Kansas City, Mo; six sisters, Mrs. Edna Fulcher of Princeton, Mrs. Pearl Beggs of Sandlick, Mrs Betty Harrison of Lester, Mrs. Louise Morris of Rocky Gap, Va., Mrs. Ruby Anderson of Amelia, Ohio and Mrs. Faye Tilley of Tuscon, Ariz; two brothers, Mr. Sylvester Grose of Bluewell and Mr. Perry Grose of Wilkesboro, N.C; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 11, 1996, at 11 a.m. at the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory, Athens Road, Princeton with Rev. Larry Dyer and Rev. Paul Hall officiating. Burial will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens on the Courthouse Road in Princeton. on November 11, 1996.5
