She was a member of Shelby County’s Poor Boy’s Car Club, she was a member of the USBC (United States Bowling Congress), she bowled in the Brandywine Bowling Association and the Shelbyville Mixed Trio and was a member of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Shelby County. Rita loved playing volleyball at the Shelbyville Parks Department, bowling and working with special-needs children. Her coworkers remember her as a consistent source of love and positive support not only for the children she worked with, but for everyone who had come in contact with her.
