He was a member of First Christian Church a choir member and youth leader and also the Elks Club. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, traveling, reading, his grandchildren and the Colorado Rockies. Mr. Mallory is survived by children, Kathy J. Mildenberger and husband Jim of Sterling, Michael C. Mallory and fiancé Donna Royster of Westminster, and Calene "Cally" Hill and husband Mike of Sterling; brother, Stanley Mallory of Riverton, Kan; grandchildren, James Mildenberger II and fiancé Abbie Pierson, Ann and Andrew Hernandez, John Mildenberger and fiancé Kate Meintz, PFC Scott Mallory and fiancé Jackie Jeter, Seth Hill and Jordan Hill and Kenneth Wesson; great-grandchildren, Taylor Hernandez and Joseph Hernandez. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; parents, Elmer and Maggie Mallory; three brothers and one sister. Memorial may be given to the Tennyson House for Children in care of Tennant Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1547, Sterling, CO 80751. on July 5, 2011.

"Frank" Reeder and Lavina "Lannie" Hill, on July 16, 1879 at Tipton Co., Indiana.1,5,6,7,4 John Francis Mitchell died on October 27, 1929 at Indiana.4 He John Francis Mitchell, 75, residing at South C and Thirty-first streets, died at 6 o'clock Sunday evening, of a complication of ailments. He had been in failing health for some time. He was the son of Lewis and Rebecca Mitchell and was born in Shelby county in 1854. When a small child his parents removed to the Windfall community. Mr. Mitchell was united in marriage to Miss Rebecca Reeder July 17, 1879, and to this happy union were born eight children. The family has resided in Elwood for several years and Mr. Mitchell was held in high esteem by his wide circle of friends. Many hearts will be saddened by his passing away. He was a member of the Tipton Baptist church for a period of several years. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Rebecca Mitchell; four children, Mrs. Bell Grose, James and Eather Mitchell, all of Elwood, and Mrs. Jessie Buckels, of Anderson; one brother, Roe Mitchell of Noblesville, and three sisters, Mrs. Jane Spencer of Tipton; Mrs. Ida Spencer, of Kewanee, Ill., and Mrs. Laura Jacob, of Cicero. There are eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Pilgrim Holiness church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. A. Snow of Anderson, assisted by the pastor, Rev. Jesse Hayhurst, and burial will be made in the city cemetery. on October 28, 1929.4

Garner Stout. He had been a resident of the Windfall community the past 80 years. Survivors include the widow, Tillie; three daughters, Mrs. Lula Malston, Mrs. Martha E. Trott, Mrs. Minnie Davis all of Windfall; a son, James Stout of Indianapolis; two brothers, Marlon Stout and Thomas Stout, both of Windfall; a sister, Mrs. Eva Hammer of near Windfall, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. on July 25, 1949.7

She was an art teacher at schools in both Indianapolis and Perry Township, a leader for Campfire Girls, Cub Scouts and Bluebirds and a member of the Eastern Star, Indiana Education Assoc., Indiana Teachers Assoc., Indpls. Arts Assoc., the South Side Art League and was named a "Who's Who" in Art In America. She relished spending time with her family, fishing, and traveling throughout the US and Europe to practice, study and refine her talent for art. She was known to spend weekends drawing portraits at L. S. Ayres in downtown Indianapolis and at Riverside Amusement Park. She was predeceased by her brothers Donald, Clarence, and Fred Wolfe; and her granddaughter, Hannah Swickard. She is survived by her children, Carolyn, Don Jr. (Wanda), Patricia Tejera (Arnold), Samuel (Sue); 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Arrangements: Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Memorial contributions to: Alzheimer's Association P.O. Swickard, 81, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, at Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Plainfield and a former resident of Indianapolis. He was born Nov. 20, 1922, in Knightsville. His parents were Fred and Augusta (Pieske) Swickard. He married Bonnie (Wolfe) Swickard on Nov. 28, 1942. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Don R. Swickard Jr. of Avon and Samuel Swickard of Martinsville; two daughters, Carolyn Swickard of Indianapolis and Patricia Tejera of Mooresville; a sister, Dorothy Williams of Humble, Texas; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hannah Swickard. He graduated from Washington High School and attended Indiana University. He was employed by Wolfe & Swickard Machine Co. as a chairman of the board for 59 years and co-founded the company in 1945. He was a member of Southport Baptist Church, American Legion Post in Martinsville, Southport Masonic Lodge 270, Murat Shrine, Valley of Indianapolis Scottish Rite and Society of Manufacturing Engineers. He was a U.S. Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. The Rev. Fred Oaks will conduct a service at 10 a.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135 in Greenwood. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity. on November 18, 2004.4
