     Travis Kyle Sturgill and Amanda G. Nichols were divorced.³ Travis Kyle Sturgill was buried at Powell Valley Gardens, Big Stone Gap, Wise Co., Virginia.³ He Pastor Travis Kyle Sturgill, 41, of Wise, crossed over into Glory on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Norton Community Hospital in Norton. He was a 25 year survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. As a child, Travis was a long time supporter and player of J.J. Kelly and now Central High School. In 1991, Travis was the VHSL player of the year in Baseball and later that year he was drafted into the MLB. After graduation at J.J. Kelly, he went to Clinch Valley College to pursue a degree in History. After graduation from CVC, he went to T.C. Williams School of Law. He did not finish his law degree due to the strong and steady voice of the Lord calling him into the ministry. Over the years, our father touched many lives and guided many people to the eternal salvation of the Lord. Our dad was continuously supportive of everything his family did. Always ready to meet anyone in need with a kind, warming smile. Dad devoted over half his life to the work of the Kingdom of God. He will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willie L. and Lola Sturgill; and maternal grandfather, Richard (Dickie) Prater. Surviving are a son, Nick Sturgill and fiancée Jessica Hensley of Wise; two daughters, Morganne Sturgill and Eden Sturgill both of Wise; his parents, Randy and Patty Sturgill of Wise; a brother, Toby Sturgill and wife Tammy and their two children, Emily and Abi of Wise; his maternal grandmother, Margaret Prater of Wise; special friend, Kathy Gardner of Norton; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside committal services and burial will be held in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap.³ He was born on January 19, 1973 at England.² He married Amanda G. He was born July 28, 1969 in Jacksonville, Florida and has lived here all of his life. David was Baptist by faith and loved fishing. He received his electrical journeymans license in 1996. David is survived by his father, David Baggarley; daughter, Cortney May (Matt); sisters, Barbara Harris (Thomas) and Susan Quinn (Don); grandson, Carson May and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Crigger and Margaret Hunnel; and three brothers, John L. Lewis, Claude Lewis, Jr., and Kenneth Wayne Lewis.
