     Norma Jean Yeatts was buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, corner of Mt. Pleasant Bvd. SE and Pitzer Road SE, Roanoke Co., Virginia.² She was born on October 3, 1937 at Montgomery Co., Virginia.^3,5,6 She married Robert Edward Foley Sr. on October 15, 1960 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.³ As of October 15, 1960,her married name was Foley.³ Norma Jean Yeatts and Robert Edward Foley Sr. were divorced on July 2, 1968 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.⁵ As of May 26, 1973,her married name was Ransom.³ Norma Jean Yeatts married Ronald Clayton Ransom on May 26, 1973 at Roanoke, Virginia.³ Norma Jean Yeatts died on November 16, 2007 at age 70.^2,6 She Norma Jean Yeatts Ransom, 70, of the Mount Pleasant community of Roanoke County, died Friday, November 16, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Ransom; her parents, Frank and Mildred Walker Yeatts and a brother, Roger L. Yeatts. She retired from Suntrust Bank after many years of service. Surviving is a niece, who was like a daughter, Gail M. Sparks and her children, Leslie and Joseph; her sister-in-law, Candis Yeatts; nephew, Darren Yeatts; niece, Michele Eastridge, as well as other nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery with the Rev. David Walton officiating. Visitation will be Monday, November 19, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 540-982-2221. on November 19, 2007.²
