The body will be removed to the church at the funeral hour. on April 2, 1964.4

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Christian Church. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Burgess was a native of Patrick Springs, Va., and the daughter of the late Will and Anne Roberts Yates. She retired from the American Tobacco Company and a was a Charter member of Faith Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Balfour E. Burgess; sisters, Bertie Yates Foley and Mary Lee Yates of Stuart, Va., Virgie Yates Thomas of Sanville, Va., and Lula Yates London of Reidsville; brothers, Carl B. and Frank R. Yates of Patrick Springs, Va. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as many good friends and her church family. There will be no formal visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Faith Christian Church, 2407 Richardson Drive, Reidsville, N.C. 27320. on April 30, 2002.2

Lula Elmo Yeatts died on May 28, 1963 at Reidsville, Rockingham Co., North Carolina, at age 57.2,3 She Reidsville, May 28 - Mrs. Lula Elmo London, 57, died at a local hospital this afternoon after a heart attack suffered a short while earlier while at work. She was a native of Patrick County, Virginia, and she was the former Lula Yates. She had been employed at the American Tobacco Company for the past 39 years. She was a member of the Congressional Christian Church. Survivors: her husband, Otis S. London; three sisters, Mrs. Maud Burgess of Reidsville, Mrs. Bertie Foley of Stuart, Va., and Mrs. Virgie Thomas of Richmond, Va; one brother, Frank Yeatts of Norfolk, Va. Funeral 4 p.m. Thursday, Congressional Christian Church, the Rev. Mack Welsh, burial Reidlawn Cemetery. on May 29, 1963.3
