Mr. Cummins is also survived by children, Ralph Timothy (Kay) Cummins of North Judson, IN, Rebecca Duran of Kyle, TX, Mary Wright of Osceola, IN, Debra Terry of Jackson, TN, Alinda Summers of South Bend, IN, Michelle (Bart) Wiley of Osceola, IN, Alanna (Larry) Gage of Osceola, IN, and Allen Summers of Long Beach, CA; 11 grandchildren, Cari, Sheri, Chad, Phillip, Amy, Kristie, Stephanie, Krystyna, Kody, William, Aiden, Zach, Jody and Larry; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roscoe (Alice) Cummins of Winamac, IN. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen B. Cummins, and sister, Marion Dalka. Mr. Cummins drove a truck hauling cattle and became a cattle broker. He was a member of the North Judson Lodge #438 and F&AM Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend. He enjoyed judging cattle at the 4-H fair and golfing. Mr. Cummins was a kind, loving person, who never knew a stranger. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
