Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 30, 1996, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Foreringer officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery in Craig County. Contributions may be made to the Craig County Volunteer Rescue Squad. Arrangements by John M. Oakey & Son. on July 30, 1996.1

Rellis was a graduate of Northside High School. He worked construction, lawn maintenance and tree work. He loved to hunt and fish and care for his dogs, ""Snoopy," "Maggie," "Tiny," and "Littleman," and fish, "Spot." Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Jeanette and (Dad), Gene Niday; brothers, Glovern "Rick" Phipps, Chris (Dawn) Niday; sister, Karie (Dennis) Caldwell; uncles, Shannon, Woodrow, Wyatt, and Rellis Palmer; dear aunt, Jeanine (Ronnie) Horne; Mike, Kim, Allen, Michael, Samantha Horn, Jeanette Krantz and Little Dixie; nieces and nephews, Brittany Phipps , Tyler and Kayla Phipps , Shawn, Danielle, and Joshua Niday; special friends, Eddie Watkin (son, Brandon), Jason Smith, Amy Rogers and family, Carolyn, Randy, and Mike Niday, Danielle (Charles) Hunter, Johnny, Vick, Bev, David, Jay, "GG;" and many other friends and family. D., former owner of the Rougeux Coal Co., died in the Clearfield Hospital at 10:20 a.m yesterday. Born at Surveyor, Dec. 31, 1919, a son of the late Raymond and Buelah (Conaway) Rougeux, he is survived by his wife the former Frances Smith, and the following children: Mrs. William (Barbara) Shirey, Clearfield K. D. 2; Mrs. Roger (Sandra) Kuhn, Clearfield; Mrs. Kenneth (Viola) Shugerts and a foster son, Eugene Smith, LeContes Mills. Nine grandchildren also survive along with the following brothers and sisters: Harold, Boyd and Mrs. Mary Vallimont Clearfield R. D. 2; John and Phoebe Zong, LeContes Mills; Mrs. Verna Cunningham, Lewistown; Ellsworth, Irvona, and Robert, Indiana. In addition to his parents, cne brother and two sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge at Clearfield and the Girard Grange. Funeral services will be held in the Leavy Funeral Home at 2 p. m. Wednesday. The Rev Ralph Krouse will officiate and interment will be in Gillingham Cemetery, LeContes Mills. on March 17, 1969.4

"Dean" Stiner, 94, of Hanover, formerly of Ebensberg, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at his home. He was the loving husband of 75 years to Cleo D. (Smith) Stiner, whom he married on January 31, 1942. Born December 4, 1922, he was a son of the late Walter and Letha (Graham) Stiner. Dean bravely served his country during WWII as a Corporal in the 989th Air Engineer Squadron, served in Hiroshima, Irashiai and Okinawa, Japan and was honorably discharged on October 17, 1946 . Dean was a coal miner for Bethlehem Mines in Revloc, PA for 43 years. After retirement, Dean and Cleo relocated to Hanover, PA where they have lived for the past 25 years. Dean is survived by 3 children: Connie Lee Holby of Hanover PA, Gene Leland Stiner and his wife, Gretchen of Spring Grove and Beth Renee Leedy and her husband, Joseph of Hanover PA; 9 grandchildren: Angelea (Holby) Groff and her husband, Skip of Somerset, PA, Michael Holby and his fiancé, Sonya Oliver of Penn Run, PA, Timothy Holby and his wife, Deanna of Pittsburgh, PA,Lindsey Holby of Hanover, Jonathan Stiner and his wife, Jenna of Spring Grove, PA, David Stiner and his wife, Lauren of Spring Grove, PA, Alicia Leedy of Hanover, PA, Jenna Ako and her husband, Isidore of Hanover PA and Senior Airman James Leedy and his wife, Melissa of Nulles Air Force Base, Las Vegas, NV.
