Her family was her pride & joy & she spent her days looking forward to each visit. Her gentle, quiet spirit disguised her strength. Her smile was contagious. Born in Virginia he is survived by his wife of 40 years Wanda Wirt Conner and was the son of Lawson Daniel William Conner and Myrtle Mae Vest Conner, both deceased. Kenny enjoyed fishing, gardening, and trips to Gatlinburg, TN. He was a loving husband, dad, and grandpappy. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Mindy Maxwell and husband Jonathan; his son, Andy Conner and wife Hailey; four grandchildren, Caleb and Payton Maxwell and Mason and Raegan Conner; his sisters and their husbands, Geraldine and Gene Hill, Brenda and Breece Surber, Kathy and Jimmy Haley, and Mary Conner; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Cline Conner; his Aunt Ruby and step sister, Opal. The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem, 1330 East Main Street, on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Riverside Evangelical Methodist Church on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 11:00 am by Pastor Brian Gordon.
