     Margaret Evelyn "Peggy" Parks Margaret Evelyn Tayloe, age 82, of Wytheville, Va, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. in the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in the Shiloh Cemetery, Pulaski, Va. She was the daughter of the late J.W. and Lula Combs Parks. She was retired form the Jafree Shirt Factory. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Tayloe. Survivors include two daughters, Pat Marth of Laplata, MD, and Carol Poole of Satellite Beach, FL; a son, Thomas Pulliam of Arlington, TX; two sisters, Ollie Demidovich of Bland, VA, and Alice Runyon of Michigan; and nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville, VA, was in charge of the arrangements.² She was buried at Shiloh Cemetery, Shiloh, Pulaski Co., Virginia.^1,2 She was born on May 26, 1920.¹ As of January, 1965,her married name was Tayloe.¹ She married Claude Thomas Tayloe Jr., son of Claude Thomas Tayloe and Loye Frances Wimmer, in January, 1965.^1,2 Margaret Evelyn "Peggy" Parks died on October 10, 2002 at Virginia at age 82.^1,2

     Ethel G. Smith was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.² Her married name was Tayloe.¹ She married Richard Harrell "Dick" Tayloe, son of John Watson Tayloe Sr. and Nell Palmer.^1,2 Ethel G. Smith was born on May 21, 1928.³ She died on April 27, 2006 at Virginia at age 77.^3,2 She Ethel G. Tayloe, 77, of Roanoke, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2006. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard H. "Dick" Tayloe; and a son, Robert Watson Tayloe. Mrs. Tayloe was a member of Melrose Baptist Church. She was retired from J.C. Penny Company. Surviving are her son, Richard Terry Tayloe of Roanoke; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert M. Smith and wife, Virginia of Vinton; sister, Mary Anna Lucado of Montvale; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Monday, May 1, 2006, at Oakey's North Chapel. The Rev. Helen Riley will officiate. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Oakey's North Chapel, 362-1237. on April 29, 2006.²

Tayloe of Mcminnville, Ore; daughters, Sarah Leslie Tayloe of Northern Virginia, Adrien Hope Tayloe of Mcminnville, Ore; sons, John Robert (Jay) Tayloe, Michael Joseph Tayloe, both of Roanoke, David Allen Tayloe of Mcminnville; his mother, Ethel G. Tayloe of Roanoke; a brother, Richard Terry Tayloe and wife, Robin of Roanoke; two nephews, Christopher and Steven; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be at the Oakey's North Chapel, 11 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2001, with the Rev. A.C. Hollins, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's North Chapel. on December 12, 2001.³
