He is survived by his wife, "Donna Jean" Dowdy Slusser; children, Marie Slusser, Charles Edward Slusser Jr. and wife, Jamie, and Jared Lee Slusser and wife, Courtney; grandchildren, Rebecca Marie Hyer, Cody James Hyer, Hannah Christine Slusser, Jacob Charles Slusser, and Aedan Lee Slusser; brothers and sisters, Otho "Bud" Slusser and wife, Betty, Rosie Welch and husband, Bobby, Lilly Fisher and husband, Ray, Earl Slusser, Lomax Slusser, Louise Slusser, Jean Slusser Hartman, and James "Jim" Slusser and wife, Trish; and special friends, "Peaches", Mike Anderson, Charlie Alls, and Charles "Horsey" Hunter.
