He was born December 17, 1934 to the late Albert and Ella Hodges. Mr. Hodges was a member of Fairmont Baptist Church in Boones Mill and was a farmer and a cattle trucker. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 50 years, Mary Poff Hodges; three children, Donna J. Hale, Guy Eddie Hodges (Christine A. Hodges), and Barbara Hodges Beach (Jason Beach); grandchildren, Jaime Johnson, Jennifer Layne, Katherine Hodges, Nicholas Hodges, Corey Jordan Beach, Peyton Beach, and Keaton Beach; sister-in-law, Betty Prillaman; and special niece Wanda Prillaman. Interment will follow in Fairmont Baptist Church Cemetery. on November 19, 2017.³

     Betty Jane Poff Betty Jane Prillaman, age 84 of Boones Mill, went to be with her Lord Thursday, December 1, 2022. Betty Jane was born February 4, 1938 to the late Kermit and Christine Jamison Poff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Prillaman and brother-in-law Luther Hodges. When she was able, Betty Jane was a active member Fairmont Baptist Church where she attended most of her life. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed reading and canning. She was known to be a great cook. Surviving is her daughter Wanda Prillaman (Richard); sister Mary Frances Hodges; brother-in-law Wayne Prillaman; sister-in-law Norma Jean Hurley; nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted from Fairmont Baptist Church.
