Skylar was such a beautiful, smart, funny, and talented young lady who loved writing poems, swimming, playing the clarinet, keyboard and singing in the church choir. Thank you to Kerry and Angi for encouraging her to share her talents. She was grateful to you both. Skylar also enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved dancing with her daddy and shopping with mommy Melissa. Her best times were spent with her sister Keily and brother Caleb. Skylar and Keily loved sneaking into each others rooms at night to sleep together. They had just done it a few days prior. Skylar was elated at the birth of her baby brother Caleb. She loved being a little mommy to him. She also loved her puppy Baby Girl. We will all miss her deeply. She is preceded in death by her mom, Jeania Wilson and her aunt Pat. Surviving are her father Michael Wilson; mommy Melissa Wilson; sister (Sissy) Keily Wilson, age 11 years; and baby brother, Caleb, age 6 months. Also surviving are her grandparents, Harry and Donna Wilson, Frances Poff, and Linda Shell; great-grandparents, Frances Linville and Mildred Rosier. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Special mention, Janice, India, Nova, Princess, Jada, Wayne, Wendy, Brenda, J.P., Rhonda, Charlie, Andon, Adava and Ryder. Skylar had many friends who she loved dearly. Special mention also to Brittany Ayers and Marquee Epperly who passed away with her. Skylar loved spending time with her church youth group. Burial will follow in Rest Vale Cemetery, Floyd County. on July 20, 2005.1

He was preceded in death by his parents, A.D. and Fannie Woolwine Altizer; brothers, Raymond (Buddy) Altizer and Jessie Altizer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, June Marie St. Clair Altizer; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and David Walters, Goodview, Barbara and Mike Mullins, Roanoke, Linda and Carlton Short, Vinton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Betty St. Clair, Salem; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Billie S. and John Lazore and Carolyn Pointing; many nieces and nephews; special friends, David and Dixie Gilley. Graveside services will be conducted at Sherwood Memorial Park. on February 4, 2005.2
