He courageously completed the days appointed for him on this Earth by his Heavenly Father. As Dr. Seuss said best, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." Nothing better sums up Raymond. Raymond gave everyone who really knew him something to smile about because he made life happen. From 2 a.m. starts on a fifteen hour trip to save $10 or the ultimate quest to make the best cheesecake, beef brisket, Boston butt, coffee, etc. etc. etc. We could go on and on... he's in a league of his own. He was so many things to so many people that could never be perfectly described in a couple of paragraphs. Those lucky enough to know him as a father, husband, brother and friend will continue to keep his memory and everything he meant to us alive in our hearts and a testament to how we live our lives without him. Thank you, Raymond for being our roadmap to many wonderful memories. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Jeanette; children, Chris and Christi Peters, LeAnne and Chris Gill; four grandchildren, Adam, Eric, Rachael and Gracie; Raymond's brothers and sisters, Sue and Donnie Gipe, Jean and Roger Boone, Mary Ann and Calvin Ronk, D.A. and Kenlynn Peters and Joey Peters; Raymond's in-laws, Doug and Diane Smith, Brenda and Gary Solomon and Benny Smith. Richard Woody "Dick" Ingram Richard Woody “Dick” Ingram passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, June 13, 2020. Dick was born in Franklin County, Virginia on Saturday, March 30,1935, to Jeanette Bousman Ingram and Hunter Brown Ingram. Upon the death of his mother when Dick was 6 years old, he lived on his maternal grandparents’ 500-acre farm where his love of the earth and its ability to sustain life became a value that would stay with him until his last day on earth. Other values instilled in him on that farm were selflessness, gentleness, and the importance of family. He was known for proudly sharing and showing off his harvests. As a member of the U.S. Army, Dick served in both Korea and Germany. He loved the outdoors and had been an avid hunter and fly fisherman until recent years. He built furniture at Singer Furniture Company until his retirement, as well as for his own home and a few fortunate family members. He was a member of Vinton Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory and celebrate all he represented are his wife, Becky Covington Ingram, and three step-children that he loved unconditionally, as if they were his own, Drew Buzik, Beth Buzik Byrd (Larry), and Scott Buzik (Charles Froelick). Also surviving are two grandchildren that lit his world like no one else, Sidney Clements (Austin) and Sam Byrd. He was ecstatic about the coming birth of his first great-grandchild, Andy Clements, and had been actively preparing for his arrival in August. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, Carol Moore (John), Wayne Ingram (Marian), Betty Young (Earl), Joyce Hodges (Trix), Barbara Hodges (Ronnie), Edward Ingram (Joyce), Gordon Ingram (Tina), Derryel Ingram (Maxie), Donna Perdue (Don), Rebecca Boone (Daniel), and H. B. Ingram (Sherry); also a brother-in-law Steve Young, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Dick was pre-deceased by his first wife, Ruby Webber Ingram; three sisters, Vivian McGhee and husband Ivan, Helen Smith and husband Ford, and Rhonda Young; and a brother, Eugene Wright and wife Peggy.3 He was born on March 30, 1935 at Franklin Co., Virginia.2,3 He married Ruby Louise Webber on April 21, 1956 at Roanoke, Virginia.1,2,3,8 Richard Woody "Dick" Ingram married Rebecca Daisy "Becky" Covington on August 19, 1995 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.3,2 Richard Woody "Dick" Ingram died on June 13, 2020 at Virginia at age 85.3
