She was church Colator for church messenger, formerly in the church choir, formerly in the Order of Eastern Star of Carey, Tops of Carey, Mary Marthas of Christ Lutheran Church, financial secretary of the church and formerly on the church council. She is survived by her husband, George; two children, Mrs. Terry (Susan) McClain of rural Wharton and Mrs. Jack (Connie) Newman of Madison; two grandchildren, Lara and Chad McClain; and a brother, James Wickham of Tiffin. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wickham. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey. on August 28, 1997.4
