He was a Charter member of the American Legion Lake Milton Post 737, where he served as an honor guard. He also was a 32nd degree Mason in the Newton Falls Masonic Lodge for 40 years. Orlie was an advocate of wildlife and conservation and an enthusiastic member of the Mahoning County Coon Hunters Protective Association since 1966. He was a longtime member of the Lake Milton Baptist Temple, and loved hunting, fishing, camping, and tending his orchard and gardening. Orlie leaves his wife of 58 years, the former Uthalee Conner, whom he married September 20, 1952; two daughters: Katrena L. Hicks and Venita (Roger) Collins, both of Lake Milton; two sisters: Bonnie J. Sutton of Waynesville, NC and Devota S. Nadine will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Costa and their two sons: Anthony M.
