Pallbearers will be J. M. Davis, N. N. Francis, C. J. Carter, W. B. Tabor, Johnson Martin and F. D. Williams. Flowerbearers will be members of the young people's class and friends. Mrs. Jewell died in St. Luke's hospital Monday night after a short illness of meningitis, having been admitted Sunday. She was a member of the Rebeccas and the Pythian Sisters. Besides her husband she is survived by three children: Mrs. Ruby Arrington, Mildred and May Jewell, of Matoaka; her aged father, J. R. Hall, of Floyd, Va; four brothers; Mose Hall of Pocahontas; Stanton Hall, of Front Royal, Va; Ervy and Arlie Hall, of Rutrough, of Floyd, and Mrs. Charlie McBride, of Leaksvllle, N.C. on February 20, 1935.6

Eva lived a full life and will be sadly missed by all. A special thanks to the nursing staff at Lewis Gale Medical Center on 6 East. Also a special thank you to the staff at Richfield Nursing Center on 4 East and their care they gave our Mom known as "Miss Eva". Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. on December 9, 2017.4
