She adored her dog, Sasha, and her former cat, Cali. She was very special to her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Michael F. MacFarlane of Victoria; daughter, Karen A. MacFarlane of Austin; sons, William Michael MacFarlane of Victoria, and Donald M. MacFarlane of Austin; grandsons, Bradford MacFarlane and Dakotah MacFarlane; and her sister, Marian Landers of Pearland. She was preceded in death by her parents. Private Memorial Services will be held by the Family at a later date. on November 25, 2012.3

     Rev. Charles Herbert "Charlie" Hudnall Rev. Charles Herbert Hudnall, 93 years of age, and a resident of Amherst, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Amherst Manor following a short illness. He was born April 1, 1916 in East Bank, West Virginia. Charles was raised in West Virginia before moving to Elyria in 1957. He had made his home in Amherst for the last fifty years. Charles was a member of Murray Ridge Church of God in Elyria. He started his employment as a coal miner for twenty-six years in West Virginia. Charles then was employed at Sany Metal in Cleveland for seven years and at Kolczun and Kolczun for fifteen years in security and maintenance. Charles served as a minister for over seventy years in various churches in West Virginia and Ohio. He enjoyed raising roses and growing tomatoes. He, also, enjoyed model trains and restoring antique cars. Survivors include his wife Ernestine Hudnall (nee: Daniels) they would have celebrated their sixty-fifth anniversary on December 23rd; his son and his wife Wayne T. and Connie Hudnall of Vermilion; his daughters Deloris Davis of Virginia and Brenda Young and her husband John of Amherst; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Jake, and brothers Grover, Paul, Stenson and Russell; his sisters Opal Love and Ethel Johnson, and his parents Andrew and Maria Hudnall (nee: Mullins). Friends may call Tuesday, December 15, 2009 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Avenue, Amherst. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. At the Murray Ridge Church of God; 7942 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH. The Rev. Thomas Cody, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
