For 15 years, she was a volunteer for Night's Welcome, sponsored by Hampton Ecumenical Lodging & Provisions (H.E.L.P.) and an outreach team at NPC. Jo served as Queen of the Hampton Mad Hatters Chapter of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her son, William A. 'Chip'' Cunningham. Jo is survived by her husband of 51 years, William H. 'Bill' Cunningham; her sister, Jane Inancsi and her sons, Gary E. Poole, his wife, Anne and Charles H. 'Chuck' Cunningham, his wife Maria; her Powers; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 2, at Northampton Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 3, at Northampton Presbyterian Church followed by a graveside service in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Hampton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Northampton Presbyterian Church (www.northamptonpres.com) or Hampton Ecumenical Lodging & Provisions (850-8956). Bill graduated from Newport News High School in 1950. After serving in the United States Army, as military police man for two years, he worked at AMOCO Oil Refinery and retired after thirty years of service. Bill, known to his loved ones as "Pop," was a man of God, a proud patriot and a loyal Redskins' fan. He spent his life helping and serving others: providing relief for Storm victims, feeding the homeless, a driver for Meals-On-Wheels, and working with "Nights' Welcome" with his church, Northampton Presbyterian Church, where he was a faithful member for over fifty years. He was always there to lend a helping hand and a beautiful smile to whomever he met. William was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Joyce P. Cunningham and by his son, William A. "Chip" Cunningham. Bill is survived by his son, Charles H. Cunningham and his wife Maria B. Cunningham, their children; Catie, Billy, Virginia, Jesse, Caroline, Vicky, Jack, Michael, Patrick and Lucy. Daughter-in-law, Kathyrn D. Cunningham and daughters: Erin Hays and Carole-Anne Cunningham, and four great grandchildren. Family and friends will gather for visitation from 5 to 6:30 pm on Sunday, February 24, at Northampton Presbyterian Church. A funeral service will be held by Pastor Don Neighbours at 11 am on Monday, February 25, at Northampton Presbyterian Church with a graveside service immediately following at Parklawn Memorial Park. on February 23, 2013.5

He was born in Porcsalma, Hungary, on December 20, 1929 to Zsigmond and Erzabeth Inancsi - the youngest of 7 children. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings. He was a "Hungarian Freedom Fighter" in the conflict against the Russian Communist Regime in 1956. He escaped with his dear friend, Steve Vaganek and they arrived in Roanoke on December 26, 1956. He learned English and worked long hard hours and in time achieved "The American Dream". He loved his new country and became a proud naturalized citizen in 1964 when his son was one year old. Jeno was a man of many talents - oil painting, stained glass, woodcarving, and he could overhaul a 12 cylinder Jaguar in record time. He was the former owner of Jeno's Auto Service on Luck Avenue for 30 years. He retired in 1989 and spent 31 years living at Smith Mountain Lake. He loved the mountains, the water, and especially the fishing. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Jane Poole Inancsi. He is also survived by his son, David E. Inancsi, and wife, Kelly; three grandchildren, Austin, Haley and Hunter, all of Johnson City, TN. His family would like to express their appreciation to his caregivers, friends and companions, Barbara Bowman and family, and Mary Boston, for their care, dedication and warm hearts, that made his life more comfortable and meaningful. As wished, a private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. on May 10, 2017.4

He was born on September 12, 1919, a son of the late John Robert and Nancy Catherine Stover Boitnott. Mr. Boitnott was an United States Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 92nd Evacuation Unit. He was a lifelong member of Valley View Wesleyan Church where he was very active serving his Lord. He was also a member of Callaway Ruritan Club. Mr. Boitnott was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed gardening. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Shank Boitnott; and a brother, Lewis Boitnott. Surviving are his wife, Mildred Jamison Boitnott; son, Tom Boitnott; daughter, Linda Boitnott Downing; grandson, John Robert Boitnott; brother and sister-in-law, Basil and Linda Boitnott; stepchildren and spouses, Phyllis Hicks, Jerry Jamison, Peggy Nunn (Doug), Glen Jamison (Diane), Danny Jamison (Terri), Terry Jamison (Cynthia) and Alan Jamison (Gayle); a number of nieces nephews, stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2011, with Pastor Barry Lawson and the Rev. Jason Bryant officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens (Roanoke). The family expresses gratitude to the nursing staff of Trinity Missions for their care and concern for Mr. Boitnott and family.
