He is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, and, friends. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, in Christiansburg. on April 18, 2016.4

Goad of the home; sisters & brother-in-law, Mabel & Ed Stanley of Pennsylvania; and Lucille Lewis of Roanoke; brothers & sisters-in-law, Leonard & Inez Banks and Waymon & Pauline Banks, both of Meadows of Dan; grandchildren, Amy Mathis; Oliver Banks; Annie Banks and Arabella Johnson and step granddaughter, Jennifer Goad. Mr. Banks was preceded in death by his first wife, Arlene Yeatts Banks. He will be greatly missed by family and loved ones. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Mayberry Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Robert C. Johnson will officiate. on January 7, 2005.5
