     George Arthur Eberhard Jr. was buried at Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery, 1392 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania.4,2 He was born on May 16, 1919 at Longwood, Howard Co., Maryland.2,3 He married Ruby Wimmer, daughter of Norman Cephas Wimmer and Hettie Odell Mills, on September 14, 1944.1,4,2,5 George Arthur Eberhard Jr. died on November 24, 2011 at St. Petersburg, Pinellas Co., Florida, at age 92.2 He PINELLAS PARK, FLA. — George Arthur Eberhard Jr. of Pinellas Park, Fla., and formerly of Middletown, Del., passed away Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, 2011, in St. Petersburg, Fla., of pneumonia, after suffering a hip fracture. He was 92. He was born May 16, 1919, in Longwoods, son of the late Rosalena (Plugge) and George A. Eberhard Sr. On Sept. 14, 1944, he married Ruby Wimmer, and they were blessed with two children, Gary (Diane) of Clayton, Del., and Deborah (Paul) Harmon of Pottstown, Pa. He and his wife spent many wonderful years in Florida. Ruby passed away in June of 1986. George retired from Chrysler Corporation as a Millwright with Local 1183 and became a resident of Florida in 1986. Quoting him at the time of his move, “I’ll never be cold again.” He was a charter member of the Loyal Order of the Moose 1295. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, as well as by a sister, Gertrude Adams of Federalsburg, in June 2003. George is survived by his two children, Gary and Deborah; four grandchildren, Scott and Laurie Eberhard and Jeffrey (Tammy) and Gregory Harmon; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Drew Mote; and also by a sister, Dorothea Schreppler (Charles) of Middletown, Del. Funeral services will be held noon Saturdayat Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, Middletown, Del., where friends may visit with George’s family from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in The Church of the Brethren Cemetery of Mechanic Grove, Quarryville, Pa. on November 30, 2011.2

"Minnie" Vest, on June 4, 1949 at Floyd Co., Virginia.4,5,8 As of June 4, 1949,her married name was Conner. Anna Lee Walton died on January 6, 2013 at Virginia at age 85.8 She Anna Lee Walton Conner, 85, of Salem, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013. She was born on December 16, 1927 to the late Alonza and Mamie C. Walton. She was also predeceased by her husband, Clyde Richard Conner; daughter, Anita Dawn Conner; brothers, Elwin O. Walton and wife, Augustine, and Percy A. Walton and wife, Jeanne; and brother-in-law, Arnold Janney. Her surviving family includes her grandson, Jared Johnson of Salem; brothers, John L. Walton and wife, Joyce, of Roanoke and Ezra L. Walton and wife, Jane, of Spout Springs; sisters, Mary W. Janney of Pilot, Jean W. Rorrer and husband, Sebert, of Radford; numerous nieces; and nephews; foster parents to her beloved grandson, Jared, Jay and Elizabeth Taliaferro; and special friend, Alfred Ratliff. Anna spent 16 years at the Richfield Recovery and Care Center in Salem. The family would like to thank those of the staff at Richfield who have been so kind to her and given the care she has received. Thanks to the many people who have visited her and brought her the goodies and other things she so enjoyed. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home's chapel with Elder W.T. Conner and Elder Carl Terry officiating. Anna will be laid to rest at Wilson Cemetery. The Conner family is being served by John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, 540-389-5441. on January 7, 2013.8
