In addition to her parents she was preceded in death be nine brother, Carl E., William H., J. Norris, John B., Charles S., Samuel E., Daniel A., James F. and Herbert T. Thompson. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, John B. Conley of Princeton; one son, J. Phillip Conley and his wife Sherri of Richmond, Va; one grandchild; two step-grandchildren; one sister, Emma B. Collie of Bluefield; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the George W. Seaver Funeral Home Chapel in Princeton with Rev. Lyle Mullins and Rev. Harrison Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausolem. Pallbearers will be James E. "Buck" Sarver, E.G. "Peg" Tolley, Albert Herald, Jr., David Eskew, Larry Harman, Dustin Thompson and George W. Johnson. on March 29, 1998.6

Powell, Jacksonville, Fla., Jack, John and Sam Powell, Princeton, Joe Powell, Salem, Va., Charles E. Powell, Charleston, Mrs. E. H. Lafon, Gassaway, Mrs. F. Bruck Johnson, Jacksonville, and Mrs. Edwin Rice, Belle. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. F. M. Gore, Princeton, Mrs. S. E. Gore, Rich Creek, Va., and P. L. Thompson, Princeton. In addition, Mrs. Oxley is survived by 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. on December 16, 1950.4
