Virginia Regina Faye Webster Filling the role of minister's wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend to many, counselor, pianist, organist, organizer, hostess, sympathizer and peacemaker may sound overwhelming to many women but to Regina Dickinson these were just a part of her everyday routine. Regina was born April 13, 1926 in La Grange, Kentucky, to Eunice Ruth Jones Webster and Ernest Edward Webster. She attended high school in Covington, KY and then worked as a secretary for a bank in Cincinnati, Ohio. She met the love of her life, Curtis Dickinson, while she was a member of the Latonia Christian Church choir. Curtis accepted the job of youth director and choir director at the church while he was doing graduate work at Cincinnati Bible Seminary and they were married in 1947. Years of devotion to her husband's ministry work filled Regina's life. She and Curtis shared their Christian testimonies with others throughout the communities where they made their home during their 56 years together, They pastored several independent Christian churches in Arizona, New Mexico, Kansas and Texas and traveled the Southwest in the 1960's and 70's sharing their musical talents for many evangelistic revivals and special programs. Regina and Curtis moved to Lewisville, TX in 1997 and started a Sing-A-Long at the Lewisville Senior Center which was well attended and enjoyed by many. After Curtis's death in 2004, Regina continued the Sing-A-Long at Thrive in Lewisville up until August of last year when her health declined. Regina was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Curtis, her brother Ernest Edward Webster Jr. and her daughter, Cheri Gaye McFarland. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Deborah Jeanne Ellsworth, her grandchildren, Staci Stevens and husband Billy, Kristi Basinger, Nichole Conley and husband Dylan and Scott Curtis Sale; great grandchildren, Alyssa Hutson and husband Joshua, Andrew Stevens, Logan Basinger and wife Rylea, Lauren Basinger, Sawyer Conley, Gage Conley and her son-in-law William McFarland. God blessed Regina with the talent of playing the piano by ear and she loved to use her talent for God's glory. She loved the Lord with all her heart and it was obvious in every aspect of her life. She "Kept a Song in Her Heart" for almost 100 years! She was our special "Nanny Bug" who was loved dearly, will be missed greatly and will never be forgotten!3 She was buried at Sparkman Hillcrest Memorial Park, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Dallas Co., Texas.6 She was born on April 13, 1926 at La Grange, Oldham Co., Kentucky.3 As of 1947,her married name was Dickerson.3 She married Curtis Alton Dickerson in 1947.3 Virginia Regina Faye Webster died on January 31, 2026 at Texas at age 99.3
