C. S. Donnelly in charge. Burial will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery. She died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in a local hospital after a long illness. Born Jan. 8, 1876 at Crab Orchard, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Julia Ann Cole Hutchinson. Her husband, Perry Davis, whom she married Oct. 18, 1889, died Sept. 1, 1915. She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert L. Davis, on June 22. Mrs. Davis was a granddaughter of James Cole, the first settler in the Beckley area. She attended Raleigh County schools and the Baptist Seminary in Alderson and was a member of the Mount Tabor Baptist Church. Survivors include a grandson, Robert L. Davis Jr., of Altamonta Springs, Fla., and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Paul R. Hutchinson, Paul R. Hutchinson Jr., Raben Cook, Gene Riffe, Boyde Stanley, Kyle and James Davis, Lionel Calfee, D. W. Bryson, and George Parker. on October 18, 1973.4

Earl L. Grose. The body will be taken to the church at noon and lie in state until the funeral hour. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial park. Mrs. Hutchinson, a member of one of Beckley’s pioneer families, was a daughter of the late Ward Cook and Julia Ann Cook and the wife of G. R. Hutchinson. She was born in Beckley and ived her entire life in this city. She was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are one son, Paul R. Hutchinson, Huntington; one brother, E. H. Cook, Beckley; four sisters, Mrs. C. M. Bruce, Beckley; Mrs. L. E. Warden, Charleston; Mrs. C. E. Tishler, Cleveland, Ohio; and Mrs. H. A. Pauley, Teaneck. N. J., and one grandson, Paul R. Hutchinson, Jr., Huntington. Pallbearers include: active — J. Cadwallader, J. S. Berthold , D. Boone Dawson, Clarence W. Meadows, Nay Caldwell, John Earl Lily, Dr. D. C. Ashton and Arliff Smith. on July 2, 1940.1

Redden died Wednesday morning, after an illness of two years. Beide her mother she is survived by three brothers, Walton Redden, of Hinton; Cleo Redden, of York, Pa., and Clifford Redden of Charleston. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon. on October 27, 1933.3
