He was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church, American Medical Association, Virginia Medical Society and Virginia Society of Ophthalmology. Surviving: wife, Sandra Okes Allende; sons, Jorge Jr. of Chapel Hill, N.C., Jeffery of Morgantown; daughter, Alicia Beatriz Allende of Buenos Aires; sister, Lucia Cantelupi of Buenos Aires. on December 12, 1987.2

Mrs. Cook was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Welch. She was a homemaker and a custodian. Her hobbies included genealogy, stamp and coin collecting, sewing, and church activities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert "Pop" Jolly; her first husband, Carl H. Hatcher; second husband, D. Harley Cook; infant twin babies; brothers, Richard Jolly, Clyde V. Okes, William "Scott" Oakes, Edward Jolly, Robert "Buck" Jolly; and sisters, Cora Okes Greco Porterfield, Ethel Jolly Pickett, Lakie Jolly Shiflett, Marie Jolly Minnex, and Arabelle Jolly Lodge. Bibb of Shady Spring; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Sally) Griffith of Winston-Salem, N.C., Mrs. William (Leona) Smith of Sarasota, Fla., Mrs. Arnold (Edith) Massey of Beckley and Mrs. Earl (Hazel) Williams of Shady Spring and three grandchildren. Friends may call at the Calfee Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today. on April 9, 1968.3
