     Gloria Darlene Branagan was born on April 10, 1953 at Virginia.^1,3 As of September 4, 1979,her married name was Poff.¹ She married Jack Dempsey Poff, son of James Roscoe Poff and Lillian James Howard, on September 4, 1979 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹ Gloria Darlene Branagan died on January 3, 2008 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 54.^2,3,4 She Gloria D. Poff, 54, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 3, 2008, with her family by her side. She is the daughter of the late Ruby Pauline Saunders and James Curtis Branagan. Surviving are her son, Eric Lemon; daughter, Cindy LaPradd and husband, Jackie; a very special friend, David Ransome; grandchildren, Ryan, Sydney, Jayden, Arielle and Kali; sisters, Dona Nunley and Pat Garland; brothers, Tommy Branagan and wife, Debbie, and Mike Branagan; and a host of other family members and friends. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008, in the Simpson Funeral Chapel.
