     Frank Curtis Spencer was buried at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5737 Airport Road NW, Roanoke, Virginia.⁴ He Frank Curtis Spencer, Dec 14, 1951 - May 7, 2025. The world has lost one of the greats, Frank Spencer, 73, of Roanoke, who passed away comfortably and in no pain on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. He bravely fought Leukemia for four years, and sadly, the Leukemia finally won. He was loved by many and will be missed by all, but will NEVER be forgotten. He loved to sing and laugh as many know, and his song will forever be in our hearts. Frank is survived by his spouse, Casey Asmussen; sons, Bradley Manning (Kim) and Luis “J.T.” Flores (David); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Lindsay and Tiffany; and many great friends. A Graveside Service will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.⁴ He was born on December 14, 1951 at Martinsville, Virginia.^1,2,4 He married Wanda Gail Perdue, daughter of Ernest Clifton Perdue and Dorothy Lee Zimmerman, on May 29, 1970 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹ Frank Curtis Spencer and Wanda Gail Perdue were divorced on December 12, 1975 at Roanoke, Virginia.³ Frank Curtis Spencer died on May 7, 2025 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 73.⁴

     Dr. Stuart Henry Hamilton Jr. Dr. Stuart Henry Hamilton, Jr., passed away on February 13, 2020, after nine years of medical challenges. He was the only child born on August 10, 1940 to Stuart H. Hamilton Sr. and Helen Hegamyer Hamilton who predeceased him. He is survived by his three children, Stacie Hamilton Baird (Scott), Stuart H. Hamilton III “Trip” (Anja) and Scott Alexander Hamilton (Lora); five grandchildren, Stuart H. Hamilton IV “Skip” (Brittany), Shelbie Baird, Tate Hamilton, Spencer Baird and Leah Hamilton; two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Stuart H. Hamilton V “Colt”; and his beloved cat, Luke. Stuart graduated from John Marshall High School in 1959, the Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy in 1963 and the School of Medicine in 1967. He was a U.S. Army Captain serving in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969, and received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star with Valor. He completed his OB/GYN residency in 1973 and was a beloved doctor to many. He was a life member of the Richmond Academy of Medicine, past president of the Ware/Dunn OB/GYN Society and member of the Richmond and Virginia OB/GYN societies. He was a charter member of the Battlefield Lions Club of Varina and coached sports activities that his children participated in. He loved everything Civil War related, from relic hunting to reading and he was a collector of all things, because everything had value to him! We would like to thank Dad’s lifelong friend Dr. John Bagley for his unwavering friendship, especially in these last five years. We would also like to thank everyone at Grace Hospice for their support this last month, and especially Ola and Claude, his compassionate caregivers. You are our hero, Dad; we will miss you.³ He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.⁴ He was born on August 10, 1940 at Richmond, Virginia.^2,3,4,5,1 He married Cheryl Annette Johnson, daughter of Byron Dunkley Johnson and Sadie Louise Perdue, on August 17, 1963 at Richmond, Virginia.¹ Dr. Stuart Henry Hamilton Jr. and Cheryl Annette Johnson were divorced on April 5, 1991 at Henrico Co., Virginia.² Dr. Stuart Henry Hamilton Jr. died on February 13, 2020 at Virginia at age 79.^3,4

     Infant Perdue was buried at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens, 7271 Cloverdale Road, Cloverdale, Botetourt Co., Virginia.¹ He was born on April 26, 1987 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹ He died on April 27, 1987 at Roanoke, Virginia.¹

     Stanley Wayne Gilmore was born on October 7, 1956 at Roanoke, Virginia.^2,4,5 He married Rhonda Lynn Vest, daughter of Roger Edwin Vest and Margaret Ann Moran, on September 15, 1979 at Salem, Roanoke Co., Virginia.^6,2 Stanley Wayne Gilmore and Rhonda Lynn Vest were divorced on July 16, 1985 at Roanoke Co., Virginia.³ Stanley Wayne Gilmore married Ginger Adeline Dooley, daughter of Raymond Harold Dooley and Diane Elnora English, on June 3, 1989 at Christiansburg, Montgomery Co., Virginia.^1,2 Stanley Wayne Gilmore and Ginger Adeline Dooley were divorced on October 17, 2012 at Botetourt Co., Virginia.³ Stanley Wayne Gilmore died on September 28, 2017 at Roanoke, Virginia, at age 60.⁵ He Stanley Wayne Gilmore died on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital of cardiac arrest. Wayne was born on October 7, 1956, to Richard and Ruby Martin Gilmore. His younger siblings were Judy Gregory (Barry), Jerry Gilmore and Wanda Goad (deceased). His grandparents were Clarence and Rosa Lane Martin, and Jessie and Lottie Hundley Gilmore all of Montgomery County, Va. On December 4, 1970, Wayne joined the family of Patrick, Sheila and Steven Herndon of Salem. He soon became "big brother" to Carolyn, Brian and Patrick as well. Wayne has a daughter, Amber and husband, Ward; grandchildren, Taylor and Blake; and a son, Jeremy and grandson, Zackary. He is also survived by Aunt Nancy Jones and Uncle Doug Gilmore of Montgomery County, Va. Wayne continued a special relationship with his ex-wife, Ginger Gilmore Jones, and he always thought of Diane Shifflett as his mother-in-law and guardian angel. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family. Wayne was a friend of Bill W. for many years. Wayne continued his lifelong habit of sharing with others and giving to others by being an organ and tissue donor. on October 5, 2017.⁵
