     Judy Carol Amos Judy Carol Amos Hodges, 67, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at her residence. She was born July 17, 1955, in Martinsville, to the late Oakley Amos and Frances Conner Amos. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Amos, Ronald Amos and Bobby Amos. Judy attended Redemption Point Church, and had been employed in the textile industry. She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, word searches, reading her Bible, watching television, spending time with her beloved family, and last but certainly not least, being around her pets which she loved dearly. She is survived by her former spouse, John M. Hodges; daughter, Rebecca Wagoner (Tony); son, Jonathan “Ted” Hodges; sister, Joyce Roark; brother, Donald Amos; her three grandchildren, Isabella, Ivy, and Samantha; and several nieces and nephews.5 She and John Milton "Johnny" Hodges were divorced.5,6 Judy Carol Amos was born on July 17, 1955 at Martinsville, Virginia.2,3,4,5 As of December 16, 1973,her married name was Viars.2 She married James Allen Viars on December 16, 1973 at Henry Co., Virginia.2 Judy Carol Amos and James Allen Viars were divorced on November 23, 1977 at Martinsville, Virginia.3 As of January 7, 1978,her married name was Hodges.2 Judy Carol Amos married John Milton "Johnny" Hodges on January 7, 1978 at Henry Co., Virginia.1,2,5 Judy Carol Amos died on June 27, 2023 at Ridgeway, Henry Co., Virginia, at age 67.5
