     Judy Carol Amos Judy Carol Amos Hodges, 67, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at her residence. She was born July 17, 1955, in Martinsville, to the late Oakley Amos and Frances Conner Amos. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger Amos, Ronald Amos and Bobby Amos. Judy attended Redemption Point Church, and had been employed in the textile industry. She enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, word searches, reading her Bible, watching television, spending time with her beloved family, and last but certainly not least, being around her pets which she loved dearly. She is survived by her former spouse, John M.      Nancy Kay Viars A funeral for Nancy Viars Willard, 53, of 296 Mountain Valley Road, Axton, who died Dec. 2, 2008, at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville, will be held Friday. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park. She was born in Martinsville on Oct. 25, 1955, to Emmette Viars and Versie Newby Viars Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Dorothy Hall, and two sisters, Mae Ferguson and Sibyl Brown. She attended Mount Calvary Church. Surviving are her husband, James William Willard of the home; stepfather, Burch Hall Jr. of Martinsville; two sons, Bobby C.      Faye Darlene Emerson Faye Kidd, 70, of Martinsville, Virginia transitioned peacefully to Heaven surrounded by her family on June 11, 2020. Faye was born February 22, 1950 in Martinsville to the late Eugene Arthur Emerson and Sally Evelyn Meador Emerson. Faye leaves behind a son, Anthony “Tony” Easterling and wife Tina; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Faye accepted the Lord as her savior at the age of 21. She loved reading her Bible and listening to gospel music. She loved to paint and make bread and butter pickles for her son, and homemade chocolate chip cookies for her grandkids.
