Todd Jr., 64, went to be with his heavenly Father, Friday, July 27, 2007, at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center. The son of Doyce A. Todd Sr. and Georgia Todd, he was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Ray Todd and Larry O'Neil Todd. He served in the military in the Vietnam Conflict for two years, from 1966 to 68. Doyce is survived by his mother, Georgia Todd; wife, Linda Dotson Todd; son, Timothy, and wife, Kim; and daughter, Tammy Bell, all of Fletcher. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Peyton and Alec Bell, Gracie and Bella Todd; and lots of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. He retired from Wesco of Asheville after 33 years of service, and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Fairview. He was loved by many and will be missed by many. He loved to fish, go camping and work in his garden. He had a love for the outdoors. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian, conducted by the Revs. Dr. Steve Harris and Stacey Harris. Interment will follow in Tweeds Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jim Harris, Gerald Wright, Vollie Whitaker, Mike Todd, Ernie Newman and David Johnson. Jackie Miller will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Flowers are welcome or donations can be made to CarePartners Hospice and Solace Center, P.O. Box 5779, Asheville, NC 28813; or Trinity Baptist Church building fund, 276 Concord Road, P.O.
